Beach Paradise

Everyone has their own paradise

their secret image of their perfect land;

mine just happens to be surrounded

by beautiful waves and cool soothing sand.

With each single caress

of the water against my toes;

it's like the very salt cleanses my soul

and washes away all my woes.

At the end of each perfect day

when all the fun of the games are done;

The perfect ending is when you sit there

and watch the breathtaking setting sun.

The very feeling i get

from the water against my skin;

is enough to cleanse me

of all my past sins.

When i'm here and look at myself in a reflection

i metamorphosize into a whole new me;

no longer do i feel chained down

but weightless, wild, and above all free.
