 The Dark Fairy

She glides with undulating grace

letting her hands skim over the tombstone,

long dark hair shrouding her face,

black wings beating in a stately drone.

Gazing over the serene landscape,

a soft smile skims over her lips

as the night sky begins to drape

the graves with twilight’s grips.

Thus she guards these sleeping dead

against marauders, diggers, and hairy

monsters who gasp with dread

as she appears, The Dark Fairy.

 WHY I RELAY....THIS TERRIBLE DISEASE HAS TAKEN MORE THAN ONE MEMBER OF MY FAMILY OVER ALL MY LIFE!IT DOES NOT SEEM TO CEASING ANYTIME SOON EITHER.MY UNCLE HAS BEEN BATTLING IT FOR ALMOST 2 YEARS NOW.THEY DID A BIOPSY AND TOOK HALF A LUNG LAST YEAR WHICH MADE IT METASTASIZE AND NOW IT HAS SPREAD THRU OUT HIS BODY AND INTO HIS BRAIN :( HE HAS 7 TUMORS THERE NOW.I RELAY IN HIS HONOR AND MY GRANDMOTHER,AUNTS AND COUSINS WHO HAVE PASSED.THIS DISEASE IS SO HORRIBLE AND I WISH WE COULD END IT NOW!!
