Oh! To Fly with the Butterflies.....

Rise Up, Fly High, Like A Butterfly – A Poem About Finding Your Own Beauty

by Charlotte Smith

Butterflies

Each so unique

Different sizes, different shapes,

So many colors,

Yet each so indefinitely

Beautiful

Spreading their delicate wings

as they emerge into the world

And begin to fly,

Owning their individuality

as they flourish.

Be your own butterfly,

Embrace your beautiful self

Fix your broken wings

Be proud of who you are,

Rise up

Fly high

Like a butterfly

Greetings from the Faire.....

 In the Faire

In the delightful fair ground

I could hear every sound,

Every inch of it was busy,

The sunday evening was truly crazy.

People were moving from one stall to another

And making a huge clamour,

The stall owners had no respite,

As they had to think about every sight,

Children were hankering after the toys and roudabouts,

The parents were obliged to listen to their shouts.

The owners of the food stalls were trying hard,

None of them was sad;

Indeed the fair can bring people together,

The rich and the poor enjoy it forever.

Fluttering Around the Tree at Fantasy Faire....

Fairy-Land Poem by Edgar Allan Poe

Dim vales- and shadowy floods-

And cloudy-looking woods,

Whose forms we can't discover

For the tears that drip all over!

Huge moons there wax and wane-

Again- again- again-

Every moment of the night-

Forever changing places-

And they put out the star-light

With the breath from their pale faces.

About twelve by the moon-dial,

One more filmy than the rest

(A kind which, upon trial,

They have found to be the best)

Comes down- still down- and down,

With its centre on the crown

Of a mountain's eminence,

While its wide circumference

In easy drapery falls

Over hamlets, over halls,

Wherever they may be-

O'er the strange woods- o'er the sea-

Over spirits on the wing-

Over every drowsy thing-

And buries them up quite

In a labyrinth of light-

And then, how deep!- O, deep!

Is the passion of their sleep.

In the morning they arise,

And their moony covering

Is soaring in the skies,

With the tempests as they toss,

Like- almost anything-

Or a yellow Albatross.

They use that moon no more

For the same end as before-

Videlicet, a tent-

Which I think extravagant:

Its atomies, however,

Into a shower dissever,

Of which those butterflies

Of Earth, who seek the skies,

And so come down again,

(Never-contented things!)

Have brought a specimen

Upon their quivering wings.

WEBSITE

Fantasy Faire opened April 21st and runs thru May 8th it has some wonderful creations from Amazing Creators. It is always an Honor and a Pleasure to be in this event. Whether it be as a Blogger or Creator or both. The Faire is near and Dear to My Heart for the Relay for Life collections of Donations for Cancer Research. Too Many of My Family have passed from this horrible disease. My Paternal Grandmother had Breast Cancer. Her Sisters had different forms from Lung Cancer and others. it is Horrible at whatever age it attacks the persons body. This year has been another really bad year for Me and My Family. A very Young friend we met on Social Media named Triton Tough (Triton Fritz). This brave young man, a boy really, fought this disease from the time He was 5 until after exhausting his options for treatment he lost his fight on February 13th at the age of 11. He was a tough little man who never lost his smile and is missed everyday by us. Taken away wayy to young! If you would like to read his story I will include his facebook link. Please be respectful as I know you will be because it has only been 2 months since he passed and it is still fresh for his family. These are the reasons for supporting this event anytime I can!
