Here Among the Flowers

I'd give you flowers when you're feeling down
to remind you how beautiful life is

Because even wilting flowers
have beauty if you choose
to see it

Here among the Sakura Petals

Pink blossoms
drooping downwards
like gowns at a grand ball.

Dew clinging to their petals
and hanging like gems,
glimmering in the morning light.

Summer Time Fun.....

Not just the sun,
It's the memories.
The fun,
The love,
The leaves that sway in the warm August breeze.

It's not just the places.
It's the journey
With smiling faces.

And as I look up at this cloudy sky,
I wish for the freedom,
And the city lights rushing by.

It's not just summer,
It's the memories that last.
It's the friends,
The laughs,
The campfires...
And vivid pasts.
