Age of Innoncence

Eleanor Canon is considered the catch of her home town tho you would not know it by knowing her.Her innocence shields her from any thoughts of being better than anyone else. Her long blonde hair hangs in gentle waves down to her waist. Her pale skin fairly shines as bright as the moon save for the roses in her cheeks.Nature even loves her!As she takes her daily walk, butterflies float down and light in her tresses. She is the Epitome of Innocence.

I could have danced all night

I could have danced all night
I could have danced all night
and still have begged for more
I could have spread my wings
and done a thousand things
I've never done before
I'll never know what made it so exciting
Why all at once my heart took flight
I only know when he began to dance with me
I could have danced, danced, danced all night

Bask in the Starlight....

#23: Basking in Starlight

The window opens onto darkened skies
The moon above, a glittery crescent shape
In the flash of shooting stars, she sees his eyes
And startled for a moment, drops the drape
The room now dark, he whispers in her ear
She shakes her head — he isn’t standing there
And broken by that thought she sheds a tear
She throws the sash again, and smooths her hair
She sips a cup of sake, calming warm
And gazes out across the asphalt yard
In the fire of the stars she sees his form
And wishes that her soul were not so marred
She shivers in the cold moon’s silvery light
And to the stars, she bids a fond goodnight
