Ready for Our Night on the Town....

The music fills my ears, i walk in the middle of the dance floor, my hips start to move from left to right, then the rythm of the music takes control of my steps, i feel like an exotic ballerina, so light on my feet, the people stop to observe me, they become hypnotized by the way i move, it's the power of this unusual music, makes me feel so beautiful, like im the spotlight of these mesmerized crowd, my pulse beats along with the tempo of the tune, slow and akwardly, these night out shall not be forgotten.

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.....

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas ,Song by Frank Sinatra

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Let your heart be light

Next year all our troubles, will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Make the Yuletide gay

Next year all our troubles, will be miles away

Once again, as in olden days

Happy golden days of yore

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be together

If the fates allow

Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow

So have yourself a merry little Christmas now

All I want for Christmas is You...

All I want for Christmas is You ~ Mariah Carey

I don’t want a lot for Christmas

There is just one thing I need

I don’t care about the presents

Underneath the Christmas tree

I just want you for my own

More than you could ever know

Make my wish come true oh

All I want for Christmas is you

I don’t want a lot for Christmas

There is just one thing I need, and I

Don’t care about the presents

Underneath the Christmas tree

I don’t need to hang my stocking

There upon the fireplace

Santa Claus won’t make me happy

With a toy on Christmas day

I just want you for my own

More than you could ever know

Make my wish come true

All I want for Christmas is you

I won’t ask for much this Christmas

I won’t even wish for snow, and I

I just wanna keep on waiting

Underneath the mistletoe

I won’t make a list and send it

To the North Pole for Saint Nick

I won’t even stay awake

To hear those magic reindeer click

‘Cause I just want you here tonight

Holding on to me so tight

What more can I do

Oh, Baby all I want for Christmas is you

All the lights are shining

So brightly everywhere

And the sound of children’s

Laughter fills the air

And everyone is singing

I hear those sleigh bells ringing

Santa won’t you bring me

The one I really need

Won’t you please bring my baby to me quickly

I don’t want a lot for Christmas

This is all I’m asking for

I just wanna see my baby

Standing right outside my door

I just want you for my own

More than you could ever know

Make my wish come true

Baby all I want for Christmas is you

All I want for Christmas is you, baby

Mistress of the Night.....

 Elvira by D.L. Vegas

How could anyone forget her

Elvira, "Mistress of the Dark,"

Raven hair and black low cut gown

Very campy and comical

Using the valley girl language

Hosting a fright night movie

Each week-

Her real name is Cassandra Peterson-

She started out as a go-go dancer

Age seventeen

Worked at a gay bar,

She has gone far-

She has been immortalized,

Comic books to pinball machines,

A doll in her image....Elvira

Alice is Lost in the Forest....

“Lost”

Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you

Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,

And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,

Must ask permission to know it and be known.

The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,

I have made this place around you.

If you leave it, you may come back again, saying Here.

No two trees are the same to Raven.

No two branches are the same to Wren.

If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,

You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows

Where you are. you must let it find you.

by David Wagoner, from Collected Poems 1956-1976
