Sleeping Beauty can not outwit the Curse....

Since Maleficent wasn't invited to the baby's christening, she cast an evil spell upon Aurora that, before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday, she would prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die.

This round of Enchantment is Sleeping Beauty! There are so many wonderful creations to look and choose from. This does not surprise me at all because our Outstanding Designers always blow me away!If you have not been yet hurry on down an don't forget the hunt ^_~

A Rose by any other Name....

Tis but thy name that is my enemy;
Thou art thyself, though not a Montague.
What’s Montague? It is nor hand, nor foot,
Nor arm, nor face, nor any other part
Belonging to a man. O, be some other name!
What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet;
So Romeo would, were he not Romeo call’d,
Retain that dear perfection which he owes
Without that title. Romeo, doff thy name,
And for that name which is no part of thee
Take all myself.

When I look into Your Eyes....

Firehouse - When I Look Into Your Eyes

I see forever when I look in your eyes
You're all I ever wanted
I always want you to be mine
Let's make a promise till the end of time
We'll always be together
And our love will never die
So here we are face to face
And heart to heart
I want you to know we will
Never be apart
Now I believe that wishes can come true
'Cause I see my whole world
I see only you
When I look into your eyes
I can see how much I love you
And it makes me realize
When I look into your eyes
I see all my dreams come true
When I look into your eyes
I've looked for you all of my life
Now that I've found you
We will never say goodbye
I can't stop this feeling
There's nothing I can do
'Cause I see everything when I look at you.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder....

Perfect imperfection

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder
And you said I was beautiful to you
But you never said when it would be over
Or how soon we would be through

Perfection is what you’re looking for
And of course it’s plain to see
Perfection is what you want and more
And that just can’t be me

You should take a look in the mirror
And get a good look at yourself
Maybe that will make things clearer
Maybe you’ll see how I felt

When you told me I wasn’t the one for you
I wasn’t the perfection that you sought
I prayed for days that it wasn’t true
And I wished on every star that we hadn’t fought

But I guess my efforts were in vain
Perfection is too important to you
Though you still care for me you claim
I guess it’s just not enough for you

You know you’re not perfect
I don’t know why you want that from me
In my eyes you were as close to perfect
As anyone could ever be

But now I’ll be waiting for the day
When I’m good enough to be your selection
But to me you will always be in every way
My perfect imperfection

Fun in the Sun......

Sex and Candy ~Marcy Playground

Hangin' round downtown by myself
And I had so much time
To sit and think about myself
And then there she was
Like double cherry pie
Yeah there she was
Like disco superfly
I smell sex and candy here
Who's that lounging in my chair
Who's that casting devious stares
In my direction
Mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this surely is a dream
Hangin' round downtown by myself
And I had too much caffeine
And I was thinkin' 'bout myself
And then there she was
In platform double suede
Yeah there she was
Like disco lemonade
I smell sex and candy here
Who's that lounging in my chair
Who's that casting devious stares
In my direction
Mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this surely is a dream
I smell sex and candy here
Who's that lounging in my chair
Who's that casting devious stares
In my direction
Mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this surely is a dream
Yeah mama this must be my dream

Those Summer Nights....

Summer Nights ~ John Travolta, Olivia Newton-John

Summer loving had me a blast
Summer loving happened so fast
I met a girl crazy for me
Met a boy cute as can be
Summer days drifting away to oh oh the summer nights
Tell me more, tell me more
Did you get very far
Tell me more, tell me more
Like does he have a car
She swam by me she got a cramp
He ran by me got my suit damp
I saved her life she nearly drowned
He showed off splashing around
Summer sun somethings begun but oh oh the summer nights
Tell me more, tell me more
Was it love at first sight?
Tell me more, tell me more
Did she put up a fight?
Took her bowling in the arcade
We went strolling drank lemonade
We made out under the dock
We stayed out till 10 o'clock
Summer fling don't mean a thing but oh oh the summer nights.
Tell me more, tell me more
But you don't gotta brag
Tell me more, tell me more
Cause he sounds like a drag
He got friendly holding my hand
She got friendly down in the sand
He was sweet just turned eighteen
Well she was good you know what I mean
Summer heat boy and girl meet but oh oh the summer nights.
Tell me more, tell me more
How much dough did he spend?
Tell me more, tell me more
Could she get me a friend?
It turned colder that's where it ends
So I told her we'd still be friends
Then we made our true love vow
Wonder what she's doing now
Summer dreams ripped at the seams but oh those summer nights

To Feel the Surf on My Skin......

The Ocean by Nathaniel Hawthorne

The Ocean has its silent caves,
Deep, quiet, and alone;
Though there be fury on the waves,
Beneath them there is none.

The awful spirits of the deep
Hold their communion there;
And there are those for whom we weep,
The young, the bright, the fair.

Calmly the wearied seamen rest
Beneath their own blue sea.
The ocean solitudes are blest,
For there is purity.

The earth has guilt, the earth has care,
Unquiet are its graves;
But peaceful sleep is ever there,
Beneath the dark blue waves.
