Past the Point of No Return....

You have come here

In pursuit of your deepest urge

In pursuit of that wish which till now has been silent

Silent

I have brought you

That our passions may fuse and merge

In your mind you've already succumbed to me

Dropped all defenses, completely succumbed to me

Now you are here with me, no second thoughts

You've decided, decided

Past the point of no return

No backward glances

The games we've played till now are at an end

Past all thought of if or when

No use resisting

Abandon thought and let the dream descend

What raging fire shall flood the soul?

What rich desire unlocks its door?

What sweet seduction lies before us

Past the point of no return

The final threshold?

What warm, unspoken secrets will we learn

Beyond the point of no return?

You have brought me

To that moment where words run dry

To that moment where speech disappears into silence

Silence

I have come here

Hardly knowing the reason why

In my mind I've already imagined our bodies entwining, defenseless and silent

And now I am here with you, no second thoughts

I've decided, decided

Past the point of no return

No going back now

Our passion play has now at last begun

Past all thought of right or wrong

One final question

How long should we two wait before we're one?

When will the blood begin to race

The sleeping bud bursts into bloom?

When will the flames at last consume us?

Past the point of no return

The final threshold

The bridge is crossed, so stand and watch it burn

We've passed the point of no return

Can You Help Me Find Kai?

Gerda is one sweet kid. She likes to sing psalms, and when Kai is pricked by the mirror shards, she "cried out of sympathy". When Kai disappears, she's the one who goes looking for him, even throwing her favorite shoes into the river as an offering. That turned out to be a poor choice, since the river ends up carrying her away in a little boat. But even that doesn't get her down: once it occurs to Gerda that the river might take her to Kai, "that thought was a great comfort and she felt much happier" . Okay, this chick is bordering on annoyingly optimistic.

Gerda's quest to find Kai pretty much takes her to the ends of the earth (or the north of Finland, which, to us here at Shmoop, is basically the same thing). She wins her freedom from a robber girl who takes her prisoner, and gains the help of a Lapp woman, a Finnish woman, and a reindeer. When the reindeer asks the Finnish woman (who has some magical powers) to give Gerda some extra power, she replies: "I can't give her any more power than she already has! … she is a sweet and innocent child" .

As it turns out, this magical Finnish lady ain't frontin'. Gerda's power is actually so great that a bunch of angels appear and protect her from the evil Snow Queen's guards when she enters her palace. We're impressed.

When Gerda finally finds Kai, he is half-frozen. Never fear, Wonder-Gerda is here! She cries over him and kisses him to warm him. Her tears not only heat Kai up to a normal living temperature, they also wash out the splinters of glass that had been polluting his vision. Those are some powerful tears, girl; we might have you cry over us sometime. In any case, Gerda and Kai return home together, proving that a somewhat obnoxious tendency to always look on the bright side of life can pay off. Good for you, Gerda!

Enchantment only has a few days left so don't miss out on all the Gorgeous Snow Queen Items!!!Also Don't forget the hunt!

Ygritte the Wildling .....

Ygritte is fierce, stubborn, and wild. She has a warm smile and can sing in a low husky voice. The spearwife wears layers of fur and wool and leather, a doeskin shirt and a sewn sheepskin helm. Ygritte wields axe and bone dagger but prefers a short curved bow of horn and weirwood. She fletches her arrows with pale grey goose feathers.

^{Ygritte learned the song of Bael the Bard from her motherYgritte came from the same village as Longspear Ryk, whom she regards as a brother. Ygritte lost her maidenhead to a red-haired youth at a feast five years ago, but she was unimpressed with her lover. When the lover returned, Longspear broke his arm and chased him off.}

Mother Gothel's Revenge...

She said, "I will willingly go away with you, but I do not know how to get down. Bring with you a skein of silk every time that you come, and I will weave a ladder with it, and when that is ready I will descend, and you will take me on your horse."
They agreed that until that time he should come to her every evening, for the old woman came by day.
The enchantress remarked nothing of this, until once Rapunzel said to her, "Tell me, Dame Gothel, how it happens that you are so much heavier for me to draw up than the young king's son - he is with me in a moment."
"Ah! You wicked child," cried the enchantress. "What do I hear you say. I thought I had separated you from all the world, and yet you have deceived me."
In her anger she clutched Rapunzel's beautiful tresses, wrapped them twice round her left hand, seized a pair of scissors with the right, and snip, snap, they were cut off, and the lovely braids lay on the ground. And she was so pitiless that she took poor Rapunzel into a desert where she had to live in great grief and misery.
"I will make sure you will NEVER see the Prince again!"

Enchantment ends in 5 short days!Don't miss all the wonderful items available!
