Waiting for Love.....

Waiting For Love

Song by Avicii

Where there's a will, there's a way, kind of beautiful

And every night has its day, so magical

And if there's love in this life, there's no obstacle

That can't be defeated

For every tyrant, a tear for the vulnerable

In every lost soul, the bones of a miracle

For every dreamer, a dream, we're unstoppable

With something to believe in

Monday left me broken

Tuesday, I was through with hoping

Wednesday, my empty arms were open

Thursday, waiting for love, waiting for love

Thank the stars, it's Friday

I'm burning like a fire gone wild on Saturday

Guess I won't be coming to church on Sunday

I'll be waiting for love, waiting for love to come around

We are one of a kind, irreplaceable

How did I get so blind and so cynical?

If there's love in this life, we're unstoppable

No, we can't be defeated

Monday left me broken

Tuesday, I was through with hoping

Wednesday, my empty arms were open

Thursday, waiting for love, waiting for love

Thank the stars, it's Friday

I'm burning like a fire gone wild on Saturday

Guess I won't be coming to church on Sunday

I'll be waiting for love, waiting for love to come around

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.......

Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

Song by Frank Sinatra

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Let your heart be light

Next year all our troubles, will be out of sight

Have yourself a merry little Christmas

Make the Yuletide gay

Next year all our troubles, will be miles away

Once again, as in olden days

Happy golden days of yore

Faithful friends who are dear to us

Will be near to us once more

Someday soon we all will be together

If the fates allow

Until then, we'll have to muddle through somehow

So have yourself a merry little Christmas now

Spring's Promise....

 The Promise of Spring

JUST a whisper, half-heard,

But our heart knows the word;

Caresses that seem

Like love's lips in a dream;

Yet we know she is here,

The desirèd, the dear,

The love of the year!

In the murmur of boughs,

In the softening of skies,

In the sun on the house,

In the daffodil's green

(Half an inch, half-unseen

Mid the mournful brown mould

Where the rotten leaf lies)

Her story is told.

O Spring, darling Spring,

O sweet days of blue weather

The thrushes shall sing,

Fields shall grow green again,

Daisies be seen again,

Hedges grow white;

Then down the lane,

Grown leafy again,

Shall go lovers together--

Lovers who see again

Sunshine and showers,

Perfume and flowers,

Dewy dear hours,

Dream and delight.

Warm shall nests be again,

Winter's behind us;

Springtime shall find us,

Taking our hands,

Lead us away from the cold and the snow,

Into the green world where primroses grow.

Winter, hard winter, forgotten, forgiven;

All the old pain paid, to seventy times seven,

All the new glory a-glow.

Love, when Spring calls, will you still turn away?

Winter has wooed you in vain, and shall May?

Love, when Spring calls, will you go?

Just another rainy night, without you....

Another Rainy Night (Without You) Queensryche

Don't slam the door, on your way out

Don't leave without saying goodbye.

Another long distance night alone,

you leave me wanting, always leave me wanting more.

Last word today, coming home to stay?

Wouldn't that be nice, for a while?

But now my take-out food is growing cold,

and the candle's burned a hole in the floor.

And I'm still waiting for the ring of the phone.

I'm all alone

It's just another rainy night, without you.

Guess I'll leave a light on for you.

It's just another rainy night, without you.

Listen, there's a foghorn blowing

from the coast tonight

Remember making love in the rain?

Strange how laughter looks like crying with no sound

Raindrops taste like tears without the pain.

I'm not much without you, can't leave

if I wanted to. maybe that's why you stay around

But tonight I'll sit here tending the fire

and pace the floor one hundred times in an hour.

And check the voice-mail for a message you've called.

I'm all alone

It's just another rainy night, without you.

Waiting by the phone. Alone.

It's just another rainy night, without you.

Guess I'll leave a light on for you.

I know I've said it before

hate the sound of the closing door

and your footsteps walking away.

(solo)

But now my take-out food is growing cold,

and the candle's burned a hole in the floor.

And I'm still waiting for the ring of the phone.v

I'm all alone

It's just another rainy night, without you.

Waiting by the phone. Alone.

And it's another rainy night, without you.

Guess I'll leave a light on for you.

It's just another rainy night, another rainy night,

another rainy night without you.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back into the Dungeon.....

 In This Dungeon Of Oblivion

Ian S Mar 2018

In this dungeon of oblivion

I am screaming your name,

In this dungeon of oblivion

I know nothing but pain,

In this dungeon of oblivion,

I am searching for lights,

Hoping I might somehow survive this everlasting plight,

In this dungeon of oblivion,

Is where you can find me,

Revealing mystery sometimes hidden in a poetry,

Crush me, pulverize me

But in this dungeon of oblivion

I'll still wait and see,

How the void fill my soul and take me to eternity.

SOOO MANY GOODIES SOOOOO LITTLE TIME!!!! Enchantment creators have pulled out all the stops and WOW what can I say but COME ON DOWN to see!! You will not be disappointed!!!Also Do not forget the Hunt!

Firefly in the Sky.....

Firefly BY JACQUELINE WOODSON

It's almost May

and yesterday

I saw a firefly.

You don't see

them a lot

in the city.

Sometimes

in the park

in the near dark

one comes out

you'll hear

a little kid shout

Lightning bug! Firefly!

It's almost May

and yesterday

I caught a firefly in my hand.

First firefly I

seen in a

long, long time.

Make a wish,

Miss Edna said.

Make a good one.

Firefly wishes always come true.
