Calliope, Queen of Mardi Gras....

Mardi-gras Masks Of Secrets

She faded into the oblivious shadows of night,

The mardi-gras converted from dawn to daylight.

Where she danced elegantly in ballroom raves

She etched her body to the rhythm flowing in waves.

Her hunger was lustful in her eternally gazing eyes,

She kept her secrets beneath beauty's seductive gaze,

But when heart beats drowned out the soulful harmony

Penetrating eyes hummed on gullible  minds uncertainty.

Her burgundy lips etched on life's needing of lustful kisses,

Eager thoughts on this chardonnay on lips it glistened.

Drained off needing, she rested them peacefully in death

Never noticing until departed that they are exempt of breath.

Invigorated she released the energy of life on the dancefloor

Day descended into nights embrace, so she left out the backdoor,

Upon the streets she smiled at the masks hiding her secrets

When an invite did fall in to her hands, her next feed on a leaflet.

You May Say I'm a Dreamer....

 Imagine

Song by John Lennon

… Imagine there's no heaven

It's easy if you try

No hell below us

Above us, only sky

… Imagine all the people

Livin' for today

Ah

… Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion, too

… Imagine all the people

Livin' life in peace

You

… You may say I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will be as one

… Imagine no possessions

I wonder if you can

No need for greed or hunger

A brotherhood of man

… Imagine all the people

Sharing all the world

You

… You may say I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will live as one

Welcome to the Badlands.......

 Jordan Hudson Sep 2018

Today's World

It's collapsing from beneath us

Tearing us apart

Faster than light further from the start

Have much fright for this dangerous barren land

My words may end up killing every popular band

Where will we go, what do we do, when do we see

What we are really here for, save it for the tree

Those who question will go beneath everything, (let me show, let me show, yeah, yeah, let me show)

Further than we go, further than we know

Beneath all the islands and all of the Russian snow

Beneath all the Middle Eastern sand far as it goes

Beneath the American badlands (here, let me show)

Canyons, rivers, oceans and sea

Believe me, it's nothing, my music is free

Take these unjust words and listen carefully

Yeah, it may sound like I teach geography

But trust me, I'm just saying you have to be aware

Of what's around you, it just isn't fair

We stare at a screen that tell us what to do

Tells us what to do, yeah, tells us what to do

We stare at a screen that tells us what to do

Tells us what to do, yeah, tells us what to do

We stare at a screen that tells us what to do

Tells us what to do, yeah , tells us what to do

It's collapsing from beneath us

Tearing us apart

Faster than light further from the start

Have much fright for this dangerous barren land

My words may end up killing every popular band

Where will we go, what do we do, when do we see

Snow Queen in all her Glory.....

 THE SNOW QUEEN

The snow queen is like a snow flake. How long has she lived in a blue fairy tale? Who is she and why is she there? The snow queen is neither pale nor fake. She is as white as a winter lake. A Christmas tree is lit beside a lamp shade. A pine tree is as green as jade. She's a queen on a winter's sledge. She would melt being a soft snow lace. She would be a snowdrop or something else. The snow will melt to bubble a river's face. The fable will end on its last page. The queen would be kept by emptiness on a legend stage. The queen would touch nothing though she was sage.

Out for a walk with My Love....

I Want To Walk With You

I want to walk with You, spend time with You

And talk about things closest to Our hearts,

My love for You and Your love for Me

I want to find My purpose in life and find Your purpose in My life.

I want to walk with You, on paths scenic and rugged too

I do not want a narrow myopic view of life

I want to walk the hugeness of life Together

I want to walk Together in kindness and mercy and love.

I want to walk with You in the heartbeat of right now

Not with the demon of regret over yesterday

Or the demon of fretfulness about tomorrow

I want for Us to walk Together in all the possibilities of Right Now.

I want to walk with You, to be Your handiwork created to do good things

Search My heart, strengthen My resolve, bless My endeavor

Open My eyes that I might see You

In all the circumstances and possibilities of My life.

I want to walk with You.

Midnight rendezvous in the the Queensgarden....

“RENDEZVOUS SONNET”

“The long day wanes the slow moon climbs,
My pale enclave inspires me to write,
That of our midnight love rendezvous,
As well as awful dreams of life’s hardships,

All can be forgotten of travesty’s that followed,
As I easily compare you to a light of stardust,
Traipse of her breaching my mind of that day,
Thinking of your prompt nobility fills my days.

My love for you is the dedicated anamnesis,
Our heated times of past frolics of seasons,
Our summertime on the immense sleepy hollows,
The sounding furrows for my purpose holds

It may be that the gulfs will wash us down,
The prudence labor loving procured slowly,
Whisking your rugged ways and thro's endings,
Subdued only to thro’s closure of laudability,
Ode to my rendezvous sonnet”
