Hello all My Name is Christie Bryant (ArwennEvenstarUndomiel on Second life)I have been blogging for 14 Years now.I got started as just a fun way to spend time and show off the gorgeous items from various Gacha events.I Began My Second Life as a Designer and Still am but I quickly became discouraged and a dear friend of mine suggested I begin Blogging.And it has become a new love of mine.I am very thankful for my friend's advice and encouragement.

Queen Hecuba Mourns her Children...

Queen Hecuba of Troy, herself now one of the captives, anguishing over a nightmare she has had, and mourning her great losses of her husband and sons in the Trojan War, and now the added torment of having to sacrifice her own daughter, Polyxena.

YAAAY the time has COME!!! Enchantment Opens it's gates Today Feb 12th at Noon SL time. This round I am SOOO Excited about! It is Homer's Iliad & Odyssey which is one of My favorites!! I can not wait to see all the wonderful creations from our Amazing Creators.....

Music , love and presents: her birthday was fantastic
She loved to collect years, she kept them in a basket.
Exquisite fairy party, melodic themes and lights
All souls in the forest longed trully for these nights.

Her beauty was unique, who could express in words..
She was light, and warmth, fresh morning dew on leaves.

Moonlit Cottage................

A Moonlit Garden

A murmurous moonlit garden,

A murmuring summer sea,

Not Arcady nor Arden

Is fairer unto me. A path of silver shimmer,

Beset on either hand

By wooded spaces dimmer

By wavering shadow-land. A silence filled with stirring

Of many leaves asleep,

With faint detected whirring

Of moths that, circling, sweep. Main of all charms so binding,

The sound, the shade, the light,

I feel around me winding

The Dragon Shrine....

Dragon of the Black Pool

Deep the waters of the Black Pool, colored like ink;

They say a Holy Dragon lives there, whom men have never seen.

Beside the Pool they have built a shrine; the authorities

have established a ritual;

A dragon by itself remains a dragon, but men can make it a god.

Prosperity and disaster, rain and drought, plagues and pestilences—

By the village people were all regarded as the Sacred Dragon’s doing.

They all made offerings of sucking-pig and poured libations of wine;

The morning prayers and evening gifts depended on a “medium’s” advice.

When the dragon comes, ah!

The wind stirs and sighs

Paper money thrown, ah!

Silk umbrellas waved

When the dragon goes, ah!

The wind also—still.

Incense-fire dies, ah !

The cups and vessels are cold.

Meats lie stacked on the rocks of the Pool’s shore;

Wine flows on the grass in front of the shrine.

I do not know, of all those offerings, how much the Dragon eats;

But the mice of the woods and the foxes of the hills are continually drunk and sated.

Why are the foxes so lucky?

What have the sucking-pigs done,

That year by year they should be killed, merely to glut the foxes?

That the foxes are robbing the Sacred Dragon and eating His sucking-pig,

Beneath the nine-fold depths of His pool, does He know or not?
