This Little Elf washed and curled her hair,
carefully places the rhinestone tiara her mother gave her in the curls
excited got dressed in her finest dress,
She dons her special jewelry and wrapped her shawl around her bare shoulders,
She walks into the room with bated breath,
Her heart beating a mile a minute,
a young man sees her enter and smiles,
he steps forward and offers her a bow and a his hand for a dance,
shyly she smiles and dips into a curtsy and takes his hand,
together they dance the whole night,
this has to be the best night of her life,
one she will never forget,

In the dying light of day The Princess walks into the grand ballroom..
The candles had been lit and illuminated the room,
she glance around at all the people as if searching for someone,
because,in fact she was,the handsome stranger who had rescued her
just a few days ago,
They had a connection she could not explain,
it ran deeper than anyone else she had ever met....

She walks farther in to the room turning in slow circles,
meeting the eyes of friends and strangers alike who had came
for the ball,
Everyone dressed in their best frocks,
The Princess smooths the wrinkles out of her new gown,
The lovely blue matching the shade of her eyes,

After she had given up all up and was about to leave,
she turns the swish of her silks skirts echoing in the room,
Her tears streaming down her cheeks in disappointment,
reflected in the candles glow,
but they quickly turned to joy,as she heard a voice,
"Arwenn" was all he said,
she whirled back around to face the man that she knew ,
without a doubt from the bottom of her heart,
was the Love of Her Life!
