In the Fairy Court....

believe in the fairies

who make dreams come true

believe in the wonder

the stars and the moon

believe in the magic

from the fairies above

they dance on the flowers

and sing songs of love

and if you just believe

and always stay true

the fairies will be there

to watch over you.

The Elf who was left behind.....

Until Next Year: An Elf Poem

Tonight I head home; I’ll see you next year!

I leave you with treats that will bring you good cheer.

Today is my last, and tonight I go back:

Back North to the Pole to help Santa unpack.

See, Santa’s exhausted. His muscles are sore.

His back needs a rub, and his throat needs a pour.

The reindeer need brushing; the stalls are a mess.

The eggnog’s been pilfered; the elves are all stressed.

We’ve had some good times brushing teeth, reading books,

Taking marshmallow baths, making mustache-y looks.

I said to Santa you both have great minds.

You’re generous and thoughtful, but mostly you’re kind.

“Two sweeter siblings there never have been,”

Said Santa, when I told him all that I’d seen.

“What a brave little boy! What a strong little girl!

“Just the sort,” Santa said, “that are changing our world.”

I’ve already got next year’s plans in the making!

(My most favorite top secret plan involves baking.)

I’ll miss you of course, but don’t worry, don’t fret!

I’ll see you next Christmas – on that you can bet.

Until then, begin every day with a smile,

And you will find magic! (At least once in awhile.)

One final thing ere I fly through the night:

Happy Christmas, little elves! To you both a good night.

Beware the Unseelie......

Unseelie (the darker side of the Faerie Realm)

Come away to a world rich and strange

where nothing is as it seems

Step in to the darker side of the Faerielands

To the Unseelie court where the outcast reside.

Through dark woods and tangled gnarled trees.

Enter and leave the life you knew behind

Join in their mischief and become a Unseelie servant.

The darker side of things tempt you

don't ignore their allure

The deeper in the more Obscure.

The wilder and more untamed it becomes.

Silly mortal you have been drawn in now you will never leave

An Unseelie servant you will forever be.

They have you trapped in their snare

Your pleasure has become your despair.

There just are not enough words to express how much I love this event!

I am a Fae in spirit I really do think and this just hits home.I hope

all rounds will be this inspiring. Not even enough time to showcase all

the wonders!Don't miss it hurry on down and check it out ^_^

The Wind tells a Story.....

The Wind

I Saw you toss the kites on high
and blow the birds about the sky;
And all around I heard you pass,
Like ladies' skirts across the grass-
O wind, a-blowing all day long,
O wind,that sings so loud a song!

I saw the different things you did,
But always you yourself you hid.
I felt you push,I heard you call,
I could not see yourself at all---
O wind,A-blowing all day long,
O wind,that sings so loud a song!

O you that are so strong and cold,
O blower, are you young or old?
Are you a beast of the field and tree,
O wind,a-blowing all day long,
O wind,that sings so loud a song!

Astronaut...
I want a swing
To sway between
The moon and the earth,
A hammock to lie
Between Canis
Major and minor,
Let me row a boat
One paddle
Through
The milky way,
Let me pedal
Across the galaxy
On a starship enterprise trike,
I want to race
A shooting star,
Whittle meteoroids
Into beautiful
Paper weights,
Surf the rings
Of Saturn,
And play
Laser tag amidst
All the space debris,
Let me be astronaut...
