The Sleeper Must awaken...

Without change, something sleeps inside us, and seldom awakens. The sleeper must awaken. If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

Strawberry Fields Forever....

"Strawberry Fields Forever" Song by The Beatles

Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever

Living is easy with eyes closed
Misunderstanding all you see
It's getting hard to be someone
But it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me

Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever

No one I think is in my tree
I mean it must be high or low
That is you can't, you know, tune in
But it's all right
That is I think it's not too bad

Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever

Always, no sometimes, think it's me
But you know I know when it's a dream
I think I know I mean a yes
But it's all wrong
That is I think I disagree

Let me take you down
'Cause I'm going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
Strawberry Fields forever
Strawberry Fields forever

The Pool of Life

The pool of life,
you swim and you dive,
a child's water slide,
a chlorinated paradise,
the four-leaf clover fills,
echoes of leaps and splashes,
a Charley Horse or two,
tuna bread and casserole,
mother's hats,
and laughing games,
sunglasses,
and kicking feet,
SPF and tanning lotion,
a lifeguard post, dilapidated
the clover greens,
the clover molds,
winter passes eleven-fold,
whitening knees come out to play,
but the swimming hole is now,
mistaken
for a garden.

The Water Nymph....

The Water Nymphs

They hide in the brook when I seek to draw nearer,
Laughing amain when I feign to depart;
Often I hear them, now faint and now clearer—
Innocent bold or so sweetly discreet.
Are they Nymphs of the Stream at their playing
Or but the brook I mistook for a voice?
Little care I; for, despite harsh Time’s flaying,
Brook voice or Nymph voice still makes me rejoice.

Sunshine Day....

It's A Sunshine Day
The Brady Bunch

I think i'll go for a walk outside now
The summer sun's callin my name
(I hear ya now)
I just can't stay inside all day
I gotta get out get me some of those rays
Everybody's smilin
Sunshine day
Everybody's laughin
Sunshine day
Everybody seems so happy today
It's a sunshine day
I think I'll go for a walk out side now
The summer sun knows me by name
(He's callin me)
I gotta get out, gotta get out, gotta get away
I gotta get away, get away, get away, get away...
Into the sunshine day...
Can't you dig the sunshine
Now its all but the same
Can't you hear him callin your name?
Oh, I think I'll take a walk everyday now
The summer sun has shown the way to be happy now
I just can't stay inside all day
I gotta get out get me some of those rays...
Everybody's smilin
Sunshine…

Acolyte of the Goddess.....

Moon of the Black Goddess by  Xan Abyss Oct 2014

Tonight I will fall down upon my knees
To pray before the goddess of enchanted ebony
Her divine rays of dark beauty I embrace
Bathing blissfully in her enigmatic grace

I enter the sanctum
Her sacred place of healing
Ecstasy consumes me
Enraptured by the feeling

When the Moon of the Black Goddess
Shines Her light upon me
Then the Love of the Black Goddess
Drowns the world around me

Tonight I worship at the Temple of Her Light
I sacrifice my flesh to the goddess shining bright
The fire in my soul erupts and sets aflame my mind
On holy nights like these when the cosmos re-aligns

I enter the sanctum
Her sacred place of healing
Ecstasy consumes me
Enraptured by the feeling

When the Moon of the Black Goddess
Shines Her light upon me
Then the Lust of the Black Goddess
Burns the world around me

I submit myself to Her, naked and unguarded
Prepared to be consumed and then possibly discarded
For in her presence, all the evil in our pale existence
Vanishes from memory in a single instant

I enter the sanctum
Her sacred place of healing
Ecstasy consumes me
Enraptured by the feeling

When the Moon of the Black Goddess
Shines Her light upon me
Then the Mists of the Black Goddess
Shroud the world around me

The Moon of the Black Goddess
Cast thy spell upon me
The Moon of the Black Goddess
Looming right above me
The Moon of the Black Goddess
I give my flesh to worship thee!
For the Moon of the Black Goddess
Is the only place
I can find peace!

When the Moon of the Black Goddess
Shines Her light into me
Then the Tune of the Black Goddess
Becomes the song to set me free!
Wrote this for a lover.
