Child of the Forest...

Forest Child

she speaks to trees

to hear what

the forest has to say,

humanity left behind

in the aspen breeze

delicate palms

grasping tree trunks

like lovers,

holding ancient bark

in her human hands

wilderness magic,

found between the

dirt and sky,

is serenity in her world

that playful wind

running itself through

her wisping hair,

a loving touch

she will always return

Ah The Simple Life...

 The Quiet Of The Night

The quiet of the night so silent and

still, bringing peace and serenity,

with life fading into a dream.

Then morning comes, leaving the day to

unfold without any secrets ever needing

to be told.

As time passes and the night returns,

silence and stillness appear once more,

letting nothing interrupt a world of

quiet and calm, so there would be no

need for panic or alarm.

The Unseelie World...

Unseelie (the darker side of the Faerie Realm)

Come away to a world rich and strange
where nothing is as it seems
Step in to the darker side of the Faerielands
To the Unseelie court where the outcast reside.

Through dark woods and tangled gnarled trees.
Enter and leave the life you knew behind
Join in their mischief and become a Unseelie servant.

The darker side of things tempt you
don't ignore their allure
The deeper in the more Obscure.
The wilder and more untamed it becomes.

Silly mortal you have been drawn in now you will never leave
An Unseelie servant you will forever be.
They have you trapped in their snare
Your pleasure has become your despair.

These are MY Lands.....

Verdant Danger

The Hill Giant
stomps across
the verdant pasture
and swings his oaken
tree club at the herd
of passing Hippogriff.

A hunter pack of
agile Wood Elves
draw their masterwork
bows in defense of their
trusted steeds.

Arrows riddle the
drooping face of the
hunched troll skin
clad Giant.
Bloody revenge was
written on his on his heart,
until bright view
was plucked out by
a swift shaft.

The Hill Giant grasps
at the gaping hole where
his ocular orb departed,
and fled to the piney hills
to nurse his wounds.

The Wood elves rejoice
and drink Blackberry wine
in honor of their victory.
