I speak to the dead more than I should.

I do not physically visit their graveyards when I wish to speak with them

I also do not summon them through rituals.

I simply speak in a language they once spoke and hope that someone's great uncle or aunt is listening.

The dead are filled with wisdom in their maggot filled brains, but

I do not seek advice when I engage with them.

I just speak and they just listen.

Sure, some might turn in their graves at the vile things I say but they'll never express their disdain.

I believe that some live vicariously through me when I talk about my adventures.

And some feel disgust when I share stories about the men I've met.

I speak truthfully because I do not fear their judgement.

They're too dead to judge,

They're too dead to laugh,

They're too dead to see,

They're too dead to do anything but listen.

The dead will always listen and care more than the living do,

and that's why...

Can these movements which move themselves

be the substance of my attraction?

Where does this thin green silk come from that covers my body?

Surely any woman wearing such fabrics

would move her body just to feel them touching every part of her.

Yet most of the women frown, or look away, or laugh stiffly.

They are afraid of these materials and these movements

in some way.

The psychologists would say they are afraid of themselves, somehow.

Perhaps awakening too much desire—

that their men could never satisfy?

So they keep themselves laced and buttoned and made up

in hopes that the framework will keep them stiff enough not to feel

the whole register.

In hopes that they will not have to experience that unquenchable

desire for rhythm and contact.

If a snake glided across this floor

most of them would faint or shrink away.

Yet that movement could be their own.

That smooth movement frightens them—

awakening ancestors and relatives to the tips of the arms and toes.

So my bare feet

and my thin green silks

my bells and finger cymbals

offend them—frighten their old-young bodies.

While the men simper and leer—

glad for the vicarious experience and exercise.

They do not realize how I scorn them;

or how I dance for their frightened,

unawakened, sweet

women.

Fantasy Faire opened April 21st and runs thru May 8th it has some wonderful creations from Amazing Creators.It is always an Honor and a Pleasure to be in this event. Whether it be as a Blogger or Creator or both. The Faire is near and Dear to My Heart for the Relay for Life collections of Donations for Cancer Research. Too Many of My Family have passed from this horrible disease. My Paternal Grandmother had Breast Cancer. Her Sisters had different forms from Lung Cancer and others. it is Horrible at whatever age it attacks the persons body. This year has been another really bad year for Me and My Family. A very Young friend we met on Social Media named Triton Tough (Triton Fritz). This brave young man, a boy really, fought this disease from the time He was 5 until after exhausting his options for treatment he lost his fight on February 13th at the age of 11. He was a tough little man who never lost his smile and is missed everyday by us. Taken away wayy to young! If you would like to read his story I will include his facebook link. Please be respectful as I know you will be because it has only been 2 months since he passed and it is still fresh for his family. These are the reasons for supporting this event anytime I can!
