Sunset Beach....

Sunset

As the day comes to a close.I feel my heart take flight.

For the sight that awaits me is truly a beautiful sight,

with hues of orange,pink and red,painting the sky so high,

The sunset takes my breath away,it makes me want to sigh.

Each night it's a different show,

a performance of its own,

with colors that change and shift,

never quite the same,never quite shown,I watch in awe as the sun dips below the horizon line,

Communing with the Dead....

I speak to the dead more than I should.

I do not physically visit their graveyards when I wish to speak with them

I also do not summon them through rituals.

I simply speak in a language they once spoke and hope that someone's great uncle or aunt is listening.

The dead are filled with wisdom in their maggot filled brains, but

I do not seek advice when I engage with them.

I just speak and they just listen.

Sure, some might turn in their graves at the vile things I say but they'll never express their disdain.

I believe that some live vicariously through me when I talk about my adventures.

And some feel disgust when I share stories about the men I've met.

I speak truthfully because I do not fear their judgement.

They're too dead to judge,

They're too dead to laugh,

They're too dead to see,

They're too dead to do anything but listen.

The dead will always listen and care more than the living do,

Beach Time Memories.....

Memories Of The Beach

We went to the beach to get wind in our hair

to stand on the sand and simply to stare.

To let the surf tickle toes and dampen our clothes

as we played 'run away'

from the wavelets at play.

We went to the beach to climb on the rocks

find cool shallow pools where we'd take of our socks,

and peer in the waters to see what we might find

that the waves of the sea,

had last left behind.

We went to the beach to find coloured shells

the kind that when placed to our ears

make the sound of the ocean appear,

and gathered rocks that we never would find

in the places we walked,

for most of the time.

We went to the beach and all that, we did find

and the smell of the salt refreshed our tired minds.

I'll never forget the laughter and sounds

and the freedom to run,

on that wet sandy ground.

We went to the beach my family and I

and there we were one,

with the ocean, the beach, and the sky.

Sky Princess...

THIS SET AND REALLY THE WHOLE PICTURE MAKES ME THINK OF THE MOVIE CASTLE IN THE SKY.WHICH IS WHY I NAMED THIS SKY PRINCESS.

The full name of the female protagonist in Studio Ghibli's Castle in the Sky is Lusheeta Toel Ul Laputa. "Toel" means "true" and "Ul" means "ruler" in Laputian, so her full name translates to "true ruler".
