Under the Moonlight ....

Under The Moonlight

Under the moonlight, when silence reigns,

But the person inside me rages in vain,

I gaze upon the sky and smiled so wide,

As moonbeams fall and my heart begins to reside,

In the gentle glow my soul finds a place,

Where turmoil fades and peace takes it's space,

I lose myself in the lunar maze,

And find solace in this gentle, shimmering haze...

The Witchy Life...

        (A Witch's Life)

Ringing bells, chanting and spells, casting runes under the moon. Magick weavers, mystic healers, stand straight and tall.

Come one and all midnight calls, gather in circle round, take your place face to face, here on sacred ground. We are one under moon and sun, nothing can keep us bound. Blessed be

Down the Witches Road....

The Ballad Of The Witches’ Road (Sacred Chant Version)

Seekest thou the road to all that's foul and fair

Gather sisters fire, water, earth and air

Darkest hour, wake thy power, earthly and divine

Burn and brew with coven true and glory shall be thine

[Chorus]

Down, down, down the road

Down the witches' road

Down, down, down the road

Down the witches' road

Down, down, down the road

Down the witches' road

Circle sewn with fate

Unlock thy hidden gate

[Verse 2]

Marching ever forward 'neath the wooded shrine

I stray not from the path, I hold death's hand in mine

Primal night, giveth sight familiar by thy side

If onе be gone, we carry on, spirit as our guidе

[Chorus]

Down, down, down the road

Down the witches' road (Down the witches' road)

Down, down, down the road (Down the witches' road)

Down the witches' road (Down the witches' road)

Down, down, down the road (Down the witches' road)

Down the witches' road (Down the witches' road)

Blood and tears and bone

Maiden, Mother, Crone

[Verse 3]

The road is wild and wicked, winding through the wood

Where all that's wrong is right and all that's bad is good

Through many miles of tricks and trials, we'll wander high and low

Tame your fears, a door appears, the time has come to go

[Chorus]

Down, down, down the road (Down, down, down, down)

Down the witches' road (Down the witches' road)

Down, down, down the road (Down the witches' road)

Down the witches' road (Down the witches' road)

Down, down, down the road (Down the witches' road)

Down the witches' road (Down the witches' road)

Follow me, my friend

To glory at the end

Dragon Charmer....

 The Snake Charmer

WHITHER dost thou hide from the magic of my flute-call?

In what moonlight-tangled meshes of perfume,

Where the clustering keovas guard the squirrel's slumber,

Where the deep woods glimmer with the jasmine's bloom?

I'll feed thee, O beloved, on milk and wild red honey,

I'll bear thee in a basket of rushes, green and white,

To a palace-bower where golden-vested maidens

Thread with mellow laughter the petals of delight.

Whither dost thou loiter, by what murmuring hollows,

Where oleanders scatter their ambrosial fire?

Come, thou subtle bride of my mellifluous wooing,

Come, thou silver-breasted moonbeam of de- sire!

Spooky Cottage...

Haunted House... By Lou

Chilled to the bone but not fazed at all

Taking up residence behind a brick wall

Crooked windows cry as they hang down low

With a mahogany front door radiating an ethereal glow

Runes hang from sills that groan

From gusty sheer north winds that have blown

Mulling if I am completely solo

As I sit on the porch clutching my phone

Hearing laughter ride high on the wind

My cheek caressed from fingers not seen

Echoes boomerang about my head

I am leaden as a weighted bed

Not knowing if this is real

Looking behind me to check out the deal

But all is dark except for a glow

As the front door now stands ajar to show

Twisting apparitions dancing a lively fandango

I definitely think it's time for me to go

Leaving them to hauntingly ebb and flow

Angel of Fall .....

 Fall, Leaves, Fall

Emily Brontë

Fall, leaves, fall; die, flowers, away;

Lengthen night and shorten day;

Every leaf speaks bliss to me

Fluttering from the autumn tree.

I shall smile when wreaths of snow

Blossom where the rose should grow;

I shall sing when night’s decay

Ushers in a drearier day.

Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right....

“People once believed that when someone dies, a crow carries their soul to the land of the dead. But sometimes, something so bad happens that a terrible sadness is carried with it and the soul can't rest. Then sometimes, just sometimes, the crow can bring that soul back to put the wrong things right.”― James O'Barr, The Crow
