Hey look at me, small I might be

Yet Santa asked for help from me

So I became an elf for a night

Switching on the lights so bright

I even got to wear old Santa’s hat

When he stopped by for a chat

Later other elves came out to play

After making gifts and toys all day

We’ve checked the tinsel and the toys

There are plenty for the girls and boys

The coloured lights sparkle oh so pretty

While on the tree hangs a dog and kitty

I hope this year you’ve been good and nice

Cause he has checked his list once or twice

So when you wake on Christmas day

There’ll be lots of toys with which to play

So from your favourite little boy

Lots of love and festive joy
