I speak to the dead more than I should.

I do not physically visit their graveyards when I wish to speak with them

I also do not summon them through rituals.

I simply speak in a language they once spoke and hope that someone's great uncle or aunt is listening.

The dead are filled with wisdom in their maggot filled brains, but

I do not seek advice when I engage with them.

I just speak and they just listen.

Sure, some might turn in their graves at the vile things I say but they'll never express their disdain.

I believe that some live vicariously through me when I talk about my adventures.

And some feel disgust when I share stories about the men I've met.

I speak truthfully because I do not fear their judgement.

They're too dead to judge,

They're too dead to laugh,

They're too dead to see,

They're too dead to do anything but listen.

The dead will always listen and care more than the living do,

and that's why...
