Elven Princess in her Court......

The Elvish Princess

Deep within the forest green

A secret place of those who dream.

An Elfin maiden waits for thee

Robed of bright silver-white

With flowing tresses of gold.

She is whispering tales beneath the pines

Songs in verse, heroic and sublime.

Of ancient cities in treetop green

Of moss meadows meshed Larkspur.

Wary of thickets in crowned cocklebur.

Her laughing water in elfish tongue

Collected within deep sanguine pools.

Too enchanted to stop and drink.

Gentle are these quiet folk

Who see beyond the mortal flesh

Escape the rush of mans progress.

The Proud pale boxes hewn,

Of brick steel and Stone.

The Magic Begins.....

When The Majic Begins

You're only a moment away from being more positive and

Effective than you've ever been. You're only a moment away

From living life at its highest level.

The only thing holding you back is your choice to keep

Yourself back. That's a choice you can change right now.

You've gone long enough evading and avoiding your best

Possibilities. Now it's time to accept that you're

Absolutely worthy of the rich, fulfilling life you truly

Desire.

That life can begin to be yours right now. That life can

Start the moment you decide to stop hiding from the unique

Beauty of who you truly are.

Yes, it will take effort, determination, faith, commitment

And discipline. And every moment of it will be infused with

The irreplaceable joy of knowing you're being true to your

Own highest destiny.

Go ahead, from where you are, with what you have, and choose

To be an active participant in the unfolding of your best

Possibilities. This is your life, this is your day, and this

Is when the magic begins.

Druid Protection......

Guardian of the Forest

An ancient ent, with roots like furrowed years,

Speaks low, and wind through twisted branches sighs.

A youthful druid leans, his pale face near,

To catch the whispered words with eager eyes.

"Mark not the seasons' shifts with anxious care,

Nor count the petals on a fragile bloom.

The sun will climb, the moon will wax and flare,

And life will quicken in a grassy tomb.

Let fallen leaves like laughter drift and spin,

Find strength in bark, and wisdom in the root.

The longest nights surrender to the thin,

First streaks of dawn - so must the strongest doubt.

Hold fast the earth, with fingers deep and strong,

And when storms break, bend low, but do not throng."

Exploring the Underwater World........

The world below the brine;

Forests at the bottom of the sea — the branches and leaves,

Sea-lettuce, vast lichens, strange flowers and seeds —

the thick tangle, the openings, and the pink turf,

Different colors, pale gray and green, purple, white, and gold —

the play of light through the water,

Dumb swimmers there among the rocks — coral, gluten, grass, rushes —

and the aliment of the swimmers,

Sluggish existences grazing there, suspended, or slowly crawling

close to the bottom,

The sperm-whale at the surface, blowing air and spray, or disporting

with his flukes,

The leaden-eyed shark, the walrus, the turtle, the hairy sea-leopard,

and the sting-ray;

Passions there — wars, pursuits, tribes — sight in those ocean-depths —

breathing that thick-breathing air, as so many do;

The change thence to the sight here, and to the subtle air breathed by beings

like us, who walk this sphere;

The change onward from ours, to that of beings who walk other spheres.

"World Below the Brine" by Walt Whitman (1855)

Tiny Forest Fae......

The Forest Fairy

In a forest dark and green

Where dew like diamonds gleam

And at times is quite scary,

There glides a tiny lady

Amidst the shadow shady

Known as the Forest Fairy.

She is really magical

You can hear her call

As she flies on crisp air

On the limbs of trees

Stops, resting weary knees

Watch, you'll spot her there.

She has wings of gossamer

And bright golden hair

She's a beautiful creature

If I could only reach her

Just to kiss her pretty face

She would turn me into a gnome

Forever the forest I'd roam

In this mystic. magical place.
