The Siren floats under the surface,
Her hair floating around her,
as if it has a life of all of it's own,
She sees the sailor slip beneath the waves,
falling in slow motion to the bottom of the sea,
Her hand goes to her mouth as she cries in silence,
the rings catch the light and you see flowers,
treasures she has found in the deep of the land above,
Oh how she wishes to be there,

her lips part and from her comes the sweetest sound,
"Oh My Love you have found me,
you have come to me as I dreamed,
you shall be mine and I shall be yours,
I will give you life immortal,
please stay with me...."

She swims as fast as her tail will carry her,
wraps her arms around the sailor,
and kisses him,
breathing life into him,
his eyes flutter,
he smiles and touches her face
as if in recognition,
could this be the Siren that has haunted his dreams?
