Darkness...
Drums sound from the darkness,
a slow hypnotic beat,
as the light builds a silouette appears,
hips sway to the rhythm,
arms rise and fall in snake like movements,
the light becomes brighter,
the green glow of the Orion girl dancers skin comes into sight,
snakes appear and wrap themselves around her legs and move upward,
her body moves in rhythm to their movements,
Her hair seems to float around her body,
Lost in the trance of the Music and Serpents,
The tempo builds,
she begins to Shimmy and then twirl in fast circles
the music builds to a crescendo and stops with a sharp beat of the Drum,
Silence.....
Her eyes slowly open and you see her serpent eyes,
The Dance of the serpent has taken her over Body and Soul.....
