She carries trays with ale and wine,
Her blouse is tight, her skirt is long.
Where travelers sleep and weary dine
There she's the tavern's fairest song.

She serves the drinks, the bread and meat
While she is watched with hungry eyes.
For golden coins, another treat,
She'll bring to you with pleasured cries.

Her fee is paid with lust and sweat.
The tender flesh is rough with touch
Of hands so crude or gentle, yet
It does not really matter much.

And still she goes there every day,
Where reign the horror and the stench.
